Fishing - The best you can get anywhere in Australia. From freshwater      estuary or Reef it awaits you at Hinchinbrook and we can arrange a charter  to suit your requirements. In Tropical North Queensland we have the best fishing  Australia has to offer.

Snorkelling and Diving  -Escape to a different world - whether you are an experienced diver or are happy to snorkel you will enjoy the experience of the Great Barrier Reef - an adventure not to be missed.

Hiking and Bushwalking - Numerous options to choose from in the surrounding hinterland - whether it be a casual walk in the rainforest with waterfalls and mountain streams or a more adventurous bush walk in our tropical    wetlands, you can experience the  wilderness of north Queensland.

Sailing - Cruise the Coral Sea in style - relax and enjoy the Magic of      Hinchinbrook from a luxury charter boat - explore the deserted islands or   cruise the Hinchinbrook Channel where you will be at peace in another world.

Sightseeing and Scenic Drives

The Hinchinbrook area has numerous scenic drives to enjoy within a short distance of your apartment.

The Cardwell Range has a short bush walk to the Hinchinbrook Channel      Lookout where you have a panoramic view of Port Hinchinbrook and   Hinchinbrook Island

 The Cardwell State Forest Drive is a 20 km scenic drive with waterfalls and swimming holes to enjoy with Attie Creek and waterfalls not to be missed.

 A 20 minute drive south on the Bruce Highway at the top of Cardwell Range you can enjoy a breath-taking view of the Hinchinbrook channel as it meanders through the dense mangroves to the ocean.

 A 20 minute drive north, Murray Falls is a spectacular waterfall where you can have a BBQ Lunch and swim in the crystal clear water fresh from the mountains.  A viewing platform of the falls is only a short walk.

The Edmond Kennedy National Park is 4 kms north of Cardwell with a 3.5 km boardwalk through mangroves open bushland and beach.

Wallaman Falls - the largest single drop waterfall in Australia, is a 45 min drive west of Ingham. For the adventurous, take the walk to the             bottom of the falls and explore the natural Rainforest on the way.

5 Mile Swimming Hole is only 7 kms south of Cardwell . Set amongst the  Cardwell Rainforest, with Picnic and BBQ facilities, you can enjoy a swim in the crystal clear stream.

Attie Falls is a close drive with a short bushwalk through the National Park.  Attie creek swimming hole is a popular swimming spot on hot summer days.
